With over 25 years of experience, we can immediately recognise the tell-tale signs of an unsafe gate, barrier or automated system. As a member of the DHF Powered Gate Group, ensuring automation safety is of the up most importance and we are happy to provide our clients with expert safety advice. We offer site surveys whereby our experienced team can recommend the best path to take with any upgrades, improvements or the potential of adding additional layers of safety to new and existing equipment. Our team will also identify any additional physical factors that may influence a safe installation. Having a thorough safety check can help reduce the risk of tragic accidents taking place.
UK Barrier Services also provide Force Testing Services for automated traffic barriers and automated gates. All new gate and barrier installations are required to undergo a documented Force Test and Risk Assessment. We believe this test is an essential step to ensure the upmost safety of your gate or barrier. The test will assess whether the pressures exerted by the gates are within acceptable safe limits of the relevant regulation. This process will not only give you the relevant health and safety paperwork but also the peace of mind.
Important Note: Most automated traffic barriers are designed for motor vehicle use only and not for use by pedestrians, cyclists or animals who should always be routed away from the barrier. This should be accompanied with clear signage!
